Is HONOR Magic V6 worth buying in the UK? Yes, if you want a foldable phone that feels genuinely practical for daily use rather than experimental. It combines a slim, pocket-friendly design with large inner and outer displays, strong flagship-level hardware, a big battery and useful multitasking software. That makes it appealing to buyers who want a premium handset for work, media and travel without giving up portability. It is also well suited to users who value fast charging, flexible camera options and a modern feature set such as eSIM support and strong durability ratings. The main question is not whether it is capable, but whether its UK price matches what you need from a premium foldable device.
HONOR Magic V6 Design and Everyday Experience
Foldable Design, Build Quality and Portability
The design is one of the strongest reasons to consider this phone in the UK. At 156.7 mm tall, 74.5 mm wide when folded and as little as 8.75 mm thick on the white version, it stays slim enough for one-handed use and easy pocket carry. Unfolded, it opens to 145.6 mm wide and just 4.0 mm thin on the white model, which helps it feel closer to a tablet without becoming awkward. It also remains relatively light for a foldable at about 219 g or 224 g depending on the finish. Practical durability matters too, with IP68 and IP69 protection adding reassurance against dust and water exposure during everyday commuting, travel and general use.
Display Quality and Multitasking Experience
The screen setup makes the everyday experience much more convincing than many people expect from a foldable. The 6.52-inch outer OLED display is large enough for quick messages, maps and calls, so you do not always need to unfold the device. When you do open it, the 7.95-inch foldable OLED inner screen gives you far more room for reading, editing documents, streaming and split-screen apps. Resolution is sharp on both panels, and support for 1.07 billion colours helps content look rich and detailed. High peak brightness, up to 6000 nits on the outer screen, also improves outdoor visibility. HONOR’s eye comfort features further support long sessions of work, browsing and evening use.
HONOR Magic V6 Performance and Key Features
Processing Power, Gaming and Software
Performance is firmly in flagship territory. The HONOR Magic V6 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with an octa-core CPU, Adreno 840 GPU, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so it is well equipped for demanding apps, multitasking and high-end mobile gaming. In practice, that means fast app launches, smooth scrolling and enough graphics power for visually intensive titles without the phone feeling underpowered. MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 also adds meaningful productivity features rather than gimmicks. Tools such as Smart Multi-window, One-swipe Split, Horizontal Split, App Extender and Parallel Space make the larger inner display genuinely useful. AI features, including AI Writing Tools, AI Call Translation and AI Deepfake Detection, broaden its appeal for work and everyday convenience.
Battery Life, Charging and Camera Performance
Battery life is another clear selling point. With a 6660 mAh typical battery, the phone has the capacity to support a large foldable display without making daily charging feel unavoidable. For many UK users, that should translate into confident all-day use across messaging, streaming, navigation and mixed productivity. When you do need power, 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless charging help minimise downtime. The camera system is also versatile, with a 50MP wide camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera and 64MP telephoto camera with OIS. Support for 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom gives you flexibility across landscapes, portraits and distant subjects. Dual 20MP front cameras on the inner and outer screens are useful too, especially for video calls and 4K recording.
HONOR Magic V6 UK Price, Value and Drawbacks
UK Pricing, Available Offers and Where to Buy
For UK buyers, value depends heavily on the final retail price and timing of available promotions. As a premium foldable with flagship hardware, the HONOR Magic V6 sits at the higher end of the market, so checking official UK listings and launch bundles is important before buying. If you’re looking for HONOR Magic V6 Black Friday deals, the official HONOR UK store is the best place to check for potential discounts, finance options, trade-in offers and bundle incentives. Timing matters as well. The HONOR Black Friday 2026 sale in the UK runs from 21 October to 1 December 2026, with early Black Friday offers from 21 to 27 October and the main sale from 28 October to 1 December. If you want to secure the best possible HONOR Magic V6 Black Friday offer, these dates are worth watching closely.
HONOR Magic V6 Pros and Value for Money
The HONOR Magic V6 makes a strong value case if you want one device to cover phone, tablet and productivity duties. Its biggest strengths are the slim foldable design, excellent portability for its class, bright dual displays, large battery, fast charging and capable camera setup. Strong software features also help justify the premium by making multitasking more practical in day-to-day use. There are still drawbacks to weigh up. A foldable remains a premium purchase, so it will not suit buyers who simply want a conventional flagship at a lower cost. Wireless charging accessories may also require an extra purchase, and some advanced features depend on usage habits or network support. Even so, for buyers committed to a premium foldable, it is an easy recommendation.
Conclusion
The HONOR Magic V6 is worth buying in the UK if you want a premium foldable that balances style, portability and everyday usability unusually well. It does not rely on the foldable format alone to impress. The slim body, bright displays, strong processor, large battery and practical multitasking tools all contribute to a device that feels ready for real daily use. Its camera hardware and fast charging further strengthen the package, while UK buyers may improve value by shopping during promotional periods such as Black Friday. The price will still place it firmly in premium territory, so it makes the most sense for people who will actually benefit from the folding design. If that describes you, the Magic V6 is a smart buy.
